Max Engels started his oilfield career in 1998 and is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University where he obtained his MSc Petroleum Engineering in 2001. Following a career with BJ Services, Fracture Technologies Ltd. and QGC (BG-Group and Shell Australia) he has a well established skill set allowing him to add value to a variety of subsurface disciplines.

During his career Max has worked mainly in upstream areas, focussing on reservoir stimulation, production enhancement, well intervention, completion design and reservoir engineering. The various roles included operational work (both on- and offshore) and office based work, located all over the world. The experience obtained from the roles allowed Max to become a specialised stimulation engineer with a deep understanding of all reservoir and well related aspects.
